26:14. ಶೆಲೆಮ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ದೊರೆಯಿತು; ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆಕರ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ದೊರೆಯಿತು. ಇವನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

26:14. ಮೂಡಣ ಭಾಗದ ಚೀಟು ಶೆಲೆಮ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಬಿತ್ತು. ಅವನ ಮಗನೂ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿರುವ ಜೆಕರ್ಯನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಚೀಟುಗ ಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದರು; ಅವನ ಚೀಟು ಉತ್ತರ ಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿತ್ತು.

26:14. The lot for the east gate went to Shelemiah. They then cast lots for his son Zechariah, a wise adviser, and the lot for the north gate went to him.

26:14. The responsibility for the east gate went to Meshelemiah and his group. The north gate was assigned to his son Zechariah, a man of unusual wisdom.

26:14. Meshelemiah was chosen to guard the East Gate. Then lots were thrown for Meshelemiah's son Zechariah. Zechariah was a wise counselor. Zechariah was chosen for the North Gate.
